Having run through the vines since their childhood. Having studied respectively at their viticulture/oenology and sales and marketing schools. Having each acquired a first professional experience with wine merchants. After having learned the art of winemaking first hand in France and Australia…This couple acquired the winegrower’s fundamentals to be able to join the ranks of their families that have been impassioned by wines since 1768.
Created by Nicolas and Alexandra the Vignobles Robin groups together Château de Laussac, Château Rol Valentin, Clos Vieux Taillefer and Château Gontet. This « adventure » began in 2004 with the acquisition of Château de Laussac.
After having undertaken large renovations at Château de Laussac and Clos Vieux Taillefer, Alexandra and Nicolas Robin have since been dedicated to crafting their wines amongst the best.
With our dedicated team of 9 people together with two renowned consultants, Michel Rolland and Stéphane Derenoncourt accompanying Nicolas Robin who accomplishes this work « Par Excellence ».
By undertaking, from the very beginning, a reasoned cultural approach in the entirety of the properties, Alexandra and Nicolas leave their imprint on the vineyards that surround them.
” Nature requires that we pay attention to her! This mode of culture is more suitable for us than organic farming since the climate of Bordeaux is not as favourable to this type of cultivation (too much precipitation). Bio-dynamic culture is more in line with our philosophy, but that is future thinking.”
Having received several dozen medals and a great number of marks of approval from their counterparts and the media.
We find the crus of Vignobles Robin in the “finest tables” of France and in over 15 countries around the world.
By distributing over 300,000 bottles per year for the group where 60% are sold overseas, the labels of Les Vignobles Robin chateaus have secured the acclaim of their peers. Today the group possesses 56 planted hectares between Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, Puisseguin St-Emillion and Montagne St-Emilion.

Managed by Alexandra and Nicolas Robin, the management is simple and efficient. They express their vision and implement the major principles of growing culture. They encourage and put into place the initiatives of their teams so
as to develop the wellbeing of each one of them. And, on a daily basis, give total autonomy to their employees to manage their respective missions. It is a participative management style based on group exchange and sharing. Since October 2011, the property has been engaged in the Environmental Management.
